The brief
Mackintosh Burn has been building Kolkata since 1834. For its annual relationship gift the company wanted something that spoke to that history rather than another folder of project photographs.
What we did
We built the calendar around twelve archival pen-and-ink studies of buildings the company constructed or restored, from the Sabhaprasad temple to St. Paul's Cathedral, and set each drawing in a spare editorial grid with a quiet monthly rail beneath it.
Outcome
A desk-and-wall calendar the company has kept in circulation as its flagship corporate gift, printed and distributed to its network each year since.
